Just days before its official launch, Episode 4 of India's Got Latent Season 2 has become the talk of the town after several clips were leaked on social media. The highly anticipated episode will be made available on October 4th. The star-studded panel will feature comedian Munawar Faruqui, actor Raghav Juyal, digital content creator Niharika NM, and comedian Rohan Joshi among others with host Samay Raina.
The episode was initially dropped as an exclusive early-access treat for members of the YouTube channel before being released on July 31 on YouTube and Netflix. Samay Raina's direct appeal to keep the footage private until the official global launch was not appreciated, but a lot of fans quickly recorded and uploaded some of it online.
Among the viral snippets, a very emotional encounter between actor Raghav Juyal and comedian Munawar Faruqui is one that must be watched. The show had Raghav recalling some of the immense personal and professional struggles Munawar has been through in recent months. The comedian is great, he said, and always the way he was, and so his comeback was a real inspiration for him. In a show usually full of sharp roasts and merciless comedy, Munawar welcomed Raghav with such warmth and thanked him for his support. In keeping with the irreverent spirit of India’s Got Latent, there were a lot of biting jokes in the leaked footage. It started when Raghav Juyal attempted to promote his upcoming film Bhai Tera Star Hai. With a quick jab, Samay Raina jumped in to say if an actor has to actively remind people they are a star, they might not actually be one.
When Raghav countered by saying that even major stars like Alia Bhatt heavily promote their projects, Samay delivered a quick punchline about the box office performance of Alia Bhatt’s recent movie Alpha. This brisk exchange instantly caught fire online and became one of the most shared parts of the leaked episode.
Samay Raina had already posted an Instagram story explaining that the early members-only drop was a special reward for loyal YouTube fans and said more exclusive early access would be released to members in the future. Samay made a joke that anyone leaking the footage would face his displeasure and then made the comment about “resignation.” But even with the lighthearted warning, clips started being posted on social media within hours.
Season 2 has continued to make an impact, mixing comedy, cinema, and digital media with different personalities. With a few celebrity guests in this episode (like Alia Bhatt, Kiku Sharda, Tanmay Bhat, and Vishal Dadlani), Episode 4 keeps up the show’s winning formula of unpredictable humor and interactive panel chemistry.
