Mandaadi: Just 6 Days to Go for Soori’s Worldwide Theatrical Release on September 10
The countdown is on for Mandaadi and we have only six days to go before the much-anticipated Tamil film will be released in cinemas worldwide on September 10, 2026. The film (with actor Soori) has been eagerly awaited as an unusual coastal setting, sports-oriented story and action packed promotional material.

Mandaadi takes the audience to the coastal Tamil Nadu communities and traditional sailboat racing in an oceanic environment where Mathimaran Pugazhendhi tells the story to the coastal people of Tamil Nadu, based on his adaptation of the traditional sailing boats. We see Kaali and Saattaappuli in Kaali and Saattaappuli teams, as they compete in a traditional sailboat race as the main competition (a traditional sailing race).
Soori plays the lead role and Suhas and Mahima Nambiar also play important roles. Veteran actor Sathyaraj and other famous actors are also cast in the ensemble. The movie marks Telugu actor Suhas's Tamil debut, which is also of interest for audiences from South India.
