Sony Music Acquires Audio Rights of Suriya–Jithu Madhavan’s Much-Awaited Suriya 47
Suriya 47 has also been added to its growing list of attractions with Sony Music taking the audio rights of the upcoming Suriya and Jithu Madhavan film. The music is very much popular among Tamil movie fans as Suriya is an integral part of Malayalam filmmaker Jithu Madhavan and the album has music by the great composer Sushin Shyam.
Suriya 47 is one of Tamil’s most eagerly awaited films and is directed by Jithu Madhavan who has made his mark in Malayalam movies like Romancham and Aavesham, and it is his first film as director in Tamil cinema. The project is very much a mix of Tamil and Malayalam film industries.
Suriya plays the lead role and Nazriya Nazim and Naslen are supporting him. Suriya plays a police officer with a very unusual personality and it is a fast-paced action comedy and entertainment-based movie. The film’s principal photography was completed in July 2023, which is a significant milestone before post-production work on the movie is complete.
Sushin Shyam’s Tamil debut adds to Music Expectations.
Music is one of the big talking points about the film. Sushin Shyam, who has worked with Jithu Madhavan on Romancham and Aavesham, is composing the music for Suriya 47. It is his first Tamil film as a music director.
