Ruhaanika Dhawan has talked about the most difficult and frightening stunts she has done in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15. The youngest actress in Rohit Shetty’s reality show did a dog stunt which tested her physical and mental strength which she says was not even a win for her at this time. Ruhaanika said it was all about overcoming fear and the importance of learning to do it.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 premiered on Colors TV on August 1 and has kept viewers entertained with a series of dangerous and unpredictable challenges. The show forces contestants to face some of their biggest fears while performing physically demanding stunts under pressure. For Ruhaanika, the dog stunt was one of the most memorable tasks of her journey, even though it was far more difficult than she had ever thought.
Ruhaanika posted on social media about her experience and said it was so hard for her to put it in words because she can’t put it in the words. She said she was scared before and during the stunt, which was truly frightful. The dogs showed no mercy, the actress said, as she put it, when she tried to complete the challenge, the dogs showed no mercy as she tried to do so she said, and that was hard to do.
Ruhaanika explained that the task involved being dragged across the room and trying to fight off dogs that were almost as heavy as her own body weight. The young actress weighed 44 kg; she had to rely on her strength to fight the strong animals. She also had fighter dogs in the challenge, which made the stunt more aggressive.
The actress recalled feeling overwhelmed by the situation. Ruhaanika said she’d “black out” for seconds during the task when the dogs took control. Despite the fear and the physical challenge, she pushed herself and used every bit of her strength to get those keys to do the stunt.
While she suffered the failure of the task, Ruhaanika does not consider it a failure. She described it as a personal victory because she faced something that frightened her. The stunt was not just about physical ability but also about mental toughness to keep focused when she was under so much pressure she felt like going insane.
Ruhaanika also thanked Ankush and Manan for helping her before the stunt. They helped her not to get obsessed with the challenge and take things to the next level before she had to take the task. For someone who was already worried about getting involved in the show, having people around her to motivate her was obviously a big help.
The actress also admitted she had been reluctant to take up Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 even after signing up for it. Her anxiety increased when she went to Cape Town for filming of the show. But the reality show has given her a new outlook on fear, confidence, and self-discovery, she said.
Ruhaanika says the show has taught her a lot about herself. Khatron Ke Khiladi makes contestants look at themselves differently and reveal aspects of their personality that they might not have realized before. Every stunt is a chance to see your limits as well as your hidden strength.
And from the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actress’ point of view, the journey has become much more than winning or losing individual stunts. With the tests that she’s been through, she has learned how she reacts to those who make her feel like she’s stuck in the middle and she can still keep moving forward when fear takes over.
Ruhaanika is the youngest contestant on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, so Ruhaanika’s journey has attracted much attention. Her ability to perform physically demanding tasks so early also attracted attention during her time on the show. The dog stunt was just one thing to prove how tough the competition can be.
We were very hard, Ruhaanika says, but she can look back on it as one of the most valuable experiences of her life. Her honest account does show the realism behind the dramatic TV show of stunts and how they are done. What appears to be a few minutes of entertainment on screen can actually have such physical and mental strain for the contestants.
Finally, Ruhaanika’s experience on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 has helped her believe in herself. Losing a stunt was disappointing, but overcoming fear and giving her all that she had became a victory in itself. Her emotional memory also demonstrates the human side of reality shows where all the challenges can teach the contestants so much more than the competition.
