The Bollywood superstar is expected to be the first guest of the new season and may appear “solo” with host Karan Johar, according to reports on 24 August.
Salman Khan has never appeared alone in the famous celebrity talk show; his earlier performances included members of his family.
He made his first appearance with his father Salim Khan, and his later performances had his brothers Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan.
If the recent reports are true, Season 9 could bring viewers a different look at Salman. Sitting next to Karan Johar means the actor could face the host’s famous rapid-fire questions without a family member or fellow celebrity sharing the spotlight.
