As we report the actor Ranbir Kapoor has contracted conjunctivitis (pink eye) just before the Ramayana event which will take place in Delhi in advance of the big Ramayana. Despite the eye infection, he is expected to attend the grand promotional event.

The Ramayana team is preparing for the very big Pratham Sankalp event at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi, where big players of the movie will be present. Ranbir, who plays a key part in this movie, will be there despite his health issue.
The sources in media reports are saying Ranbir might be seen wearing dark sunglasses during the event as a precautionary measure.
As Team Ramayana is all set for the massive Pratham Sankalp at Bharat Mandapam, RK, who is always known for fulfilling his commitments, may be seen wearing black glasses during the event as a precaution," a source said.
Ranbir Kapoor is also known for being hardworking for his scheduled appearances and will be at the show when he can travel, said the event organizer.
Ramayana is one of the most eagerly awaited Indian movies of recent years with Nitesh Tiwari at the helm, with a big cast and big bang of a movie. This is all set to bring to life the huge scale, star-studded cast and visual spectacle of this movie but there is no fanfare.
While Ranbirβs conjunctivitis has been reported on the web, neither the actor nor the movieβs makers have made any official comment on his health. But fans have taken to social media to wish him a quick recovery and are looking forward to Ramayana's big day.
If the reports are true, Ranbir's appearance at the event despite the temporary illness was probably also a sign of his dedication to the film and promotional aspect of the film and campaign.
