Traitors Season 2 Finale: Krystle D’Souza And Rida Tharana Crowned Winners, Take Home Rs 66 Lakh
Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharana were officially the winners in Season 2 of ‘The Traitors’ and made it to the finale of the reality show and got Rs 66 lakh in total. The much awaited finale episode went up today (September 3) and the second season of the Prime Video reality series is over after weeks of deceit, strategy, suspicion and surprise eliminations.
Six contestants competed for the coveted trophy at the finale. Besides Krystle and Rida, Mallika Sherawat, Shalini Passi, Dalip Tahil and Sahil Salathia were the finalists. Each decision made at the end was important to the game as the contestants were looking for the Traitors and were trying not to get eliminated.
Mallika Sherawat was the first person to exit during the finale. She was ‘murdered’ the night before the final episode, bringing her way out of the show just before the last Circle of Shaq. After she left the show, the remaining contestants had one final round of the intense elimination process, where trust and suspicion again played a crucial role.
The final Circle of Shaq was decisive for Dalip Tahil, who was eliminated from the competition. As the number of contestants diminished, the pressure on those remaining in the game intensified. Sahil Salathia and Shalini Passi were killed, and Krystle D’Souza and Rida Tharana were left at the end of the competition.
Krystle and Rida were awarded the victory as they successfully navigated the show’s complicated web of alliances, suspicion and strategic gameplay. How The Traitors Format Works
The Traitors is built on strategy, deception and the ability to read other contestants. Participants are divided into different roles, in which the hidden Traitors try to eliminate the Faithful contestants without revealing their identities. Meanwhile, the Faithfuls have to work together to be able to identify the Traitors and eliminate them before becoming their next targets.
The show’s format makes trust one of the most important components of the competition. Contestants need to constantly assess conversations, alliances and voting patterns while trying to determine who is really working with them and who is secretly undermining them.
The Circle of Shaq is very important in the game: contestants discuss their suspicions before deciding who should leave the game. Meanwhile, the Traitors operate in the shadows, causing the Faithfuls to not know who they can trust.
Karan Johar hosted The Traitors on Prime Video and it combines reality television with psychological strategy and social gameplay. The second season was much more popular for celebrity appearances and its random eliminations.
